I designed My Freelance Life Story to guide others through their own freelance journey by using my own journey as an example. It is designed to help freelancers achieve the success they seek, while avoiding potential pitfalls that many freelancers face.

Being a freelance writer for more than seven years has taught me several things. But, the most important to succeed in this venture are:

  • Don’t give up
  • Don’t stop learning
  • Never settle for less

Maintaining a freelance writing business is a challenge (If you don’t like a challenging career, then this isn’t for you). Yes, it’s nice to be at home, working in your PJs, and making money, but it takes more effort than most people realize. You have to work hard, you have to market yourself, and you need to become a valuable asset to your clients.

When I started back in 2008, I thought I knew what I was doing… I didn’t. And it took plenty of falling down on my face, failing, and frustration to figure it out.

Seven years later, here I am, now a successful writer. And, I want to help you through your journey of freelance writing.
